Urim is a non-Austronesian language spoken in Papua New Guinea. Laycock (1973) classifies it as a stock-level isolate of the Torricelli Phylum. It is spoken by about 3400 people, who live in 16 villages in the southern foothills of the Torricelli Mountains. (…) The Urim language has also been called Kalp, which comes from the word kalpm ‘no’ in the Kukwo dialect.
